Mansfield Motorsports Park to host flea market on Saturdays

A few weeks ago Mansfield Motorsports Park announced it would host weekend flea markets this year. I jumped the gun and said it was debuting a week before it was scheduled to open, and I wrote a long retraction. Now comes another change.
After last week's initial flea market, track owner Mike Dzurilla talked it over with the buyers and sellers and decided a flea market on only Saturdays would attract more people and made more sense than spreading it over two days, so they are scrubbing the Sunday dates.
Starting Saturday, the track will be open for business from 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. As a thank you to fans, it will be free to vendors and shoppers.
Starting the following week, MMP will charge vendors $10 for unlimited space and the ability to sell anything they want (that is legal of course). Patrons will be charged $1 to park and shop.
Anyone with questions should call Kevin Ruic at 440-376-3919. He's the guy with the answers, not me.
• Ontario's Alex Miller, the reigning NHRA Division 3 Super Street class champion, couldn't race last weekend in Indianapolis as the drag racing event was rained out. They'll try it again May 21 and 22.
• Dunlop Tire and Tucker Rocky Distributing have joined The Mid-Ohio School and its new Performance Track Riding program.
Participants will get the chance to buy Dunlop tires for their motorcycle at a discount price, while Tucker Rocky will provide a limited number of leather suits for riders to rent for the day. More on the new riding programs can be found at MidOhioSchool.com.
