Tell Us the Best Place to See a race at Mid Ohio
May 16, 2011
Everyone has a favorite spot for viewing a race at the Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course. I love the hill on the "esses" if you get there early enough with your bag chair, but opinions vary. Just planning ahead for summer. What's everyone's favorite viewing spot?

I love sitting in the keyhole. Love the high vantage point! Close to exit too!

So, if you can't make it up in the Goodyear Tower for a VIP Luncheon, then the second set of Grand Stands at the end of the back straight is THE BEST seat in the house...you can see all of turn One, through Three and part of the Keyhole (turn Four). You catch back up with the riders after they are driving down the back straight, and where you'll have the privilege of watching the action through the Esses, and depending if their are campers parked on the outside of the track, just before turn Eight, your vantage point will allow you a view of the action all the way through turn Nine, as they ascend "wheelie hill!"Next best is the hill on the Infield side of the Esses, or the Yellow Pavilion's 2nd floor! Followed by the hill at the Keyhole, where you'll have to fight for the only shade, thanks to the huge Billboard...There's a reason Mid-Ohio is always packed during Motorcycle Events...great action, great vantage points, and all thanks to a GREAT TRACK!!!!
